Roses, Red, and Ribbons decorated this Grand Gimeno Wedding Featured on Green Wedding Shoes

Talia and her bridesmaids sipped on champagne in the Powder Room and got ready for the day while Jimi and his groomsmen suited up in the Parlor. When both groups were ready, they headed out to the Courtyard for Talia and Jimi’s first look. A tap on the shoulder turned Jimi around to see his beautiful bride standing before him. The couple shared sweet compliments, then joined their wedding party for group photos. The bridesmaids were dressed in shades of red, pink, and burgundy and the groomsmen wore white and brown with pops of the bridesmaid dress shades as bow ties. Together, everyone smiled and cheered for the bride and groom as the photographer snapped away capturing the celebration, then everyone lined up for the ceremony.

Guests entered the Olive Grove, dropped off their gifts and cards at the welcome table, then took a seat. Arrangements of pink and red roses marked the back of the aisle and matching floral pillars framed in the ceremony space ahead. Once everyone was seated, the wedding party made their entrances. In front of all their friends and family, Talia and Jimi read personalized vows, exchanged rings, and sealed the ceremony with a kiss.

Fig, Goat Cheese and Mascarpone Tarts and Mini Ahi Tacos made their rounds around the Olive Grove for cocktail hour while chefs at the pizza oven were slicing Wood-fired Neapolitan and Grilled Chicken and Pesto Pizzas for guests. Everyone mixed and mingled around the fireplace and firepit which were accented by pink, peach, and red pillows and furnishings. Drinks at the bar were flowing with the most popular being the bride and groom’s signature cocktails, a Classic Margarita and Old Fashioned. The newlyweds snuck away for a few photos together as husband and wife, and upon their return it was time to head inside for the reception.

Tables were topped with a fiery color palette of florals and custom menus sat atop each placemat. Jimi and Talia made their grand entrance, shared their first dance, and took a seat at their head table with their friends. The first course of Ensalada Las Mesas was served as guests began sharing their speeches. After a few toasts, the entrée of Chicken Santorini and Roasted Pacific Halibut with Grilled Asparagus and Gourmet Mashed Potatoes was served. The dinner menu was selected by the bride and groom with help from our event specialist, Patti. After dinner, the couple cut into their vintage-inspired wedding cake and invited their guests to indulge in our Grand Coffee and Homemade Donut Station for dessert. As a cherry on top of the evening, the newlyweds opened the dance floor with a sweet song they played together. The evening ended with lots of dancing, a late night snack of Fried Chicken and Waffle Bites, and plenty of well wishes shared with Talia and Jimi.
